Out of eight participants in Saturday's cupping there were two who had cupped previously, though neither had been introduced to the SCAA cupping form. Everyone attended because they were intrigued and wanted to learn more about these coffees or experience something new.
Although many in the group had admitted to having "unsophisticated palettes" they do apparently have the ability to taste, have preferences. The result was a good time and an opportunity to captivate several of our local customers for 90 mins for NO extra cost.
Plus, I enjoy any opportunity to spread coffee knowledge and show of my sophisticated palette! ? Dylan
